CRICKET: Good Luck the Black Caps!

The man who holds our hopes between his fingers
It's nearly here.  Our first World Cup fixture against Kenya.  Day 1 of the 2011 World Cup saw a Sehwag slaying the Bangladesh bowlers for 175.  I hope Day 2 holds similar fortunes for us. We have the firepower and ability to pull it off.  It just needs to be done.  Nothing short of ruthless is required, such has been the performances of late, that much is needed to bolster our team's confidence... and slaughter they shall.

Early team news is that Nathan McCullum and Mills are out, which guarantees the inclusion of Bennett and a toss up between Woodcock\Williamson or maybe How if they want to rest McCullum with keeping responsibilities.  Woodcock is the most like for like swap, but if they are curious enough to give Williamson another crack as a batter (as his bowling could probably stack up here), he could sneak in.  Any combination should really be enough to overcome Kenya easily, so long as an aggressive approach is adopted.  Complacency has cost big teams in the past, in such situations.  It cannot happen here with us.

Best of luck to the boys.  Will try my best to get up at 4.30am here to watch!
