The Wagner Express |
South African born bowlers seem to be flavour of the month at the moment with regards to New Zealand Cricket. After Alan Donald's undoubted influence over the much improved Tim Southee, Otago left-arm quick Neil Wagner took 5 wickets in 6 balls against the middle order of Wellington in a first class fixture.
Looking more and more like a potent force (so few and far between in our pace bowling stocks) the heartbreaker is he still isn't eligible to be a Black Cap until April 2012. Fingers crossed he'll stay strong and injury free till then.
