| Michael Shannon struggling with reality |
With good press from Cannes,
'Take Shelter' looks an interesting psychological thriller. Usually shy away from multiple personality type storylines as they are more than well represented, but this one seems sophisticated, as it doesn't look merely like a plot device. Michael Shannon has always intrigued me as a character actor too with traits reminiscent of the intense and wild-eyed Ray Liotta. His performance in such a film, will ultimately lead to its success or failure and critics have suggested widely in the former.
