Y'S GUYS FILMS: V48HOURS 2011 starts soon!

With the V48HOURS 2011 Filmmaking Competition just over a day away, we revisit the Y'S GUYS FILMS catalogue with our proudest previous entry, Flesh & Blood from 2009.

We're a team big on narrative, and were very pleased how our little horror short came out.  We've had previous success with the horror genre in Narita San's The Duck and it was pleasing to be given this particular genre for 2009.  For us everything seemed to click.  The story, the shoot, the music, the edit and in the end a punchy little number.  Was one of the best all-round collaboration experiences I think I've had, and little Sarah Martin was awesome.

Have a good team assembled here in London to take on the 2011 challenge.  The time difference will make it interesting this year (working from day to night to match NZ) but I'm sure we'll cope.  Most importantly, I'm feeling incredibly inspired with ideas this time around, due to my recent new and fresh experiences.  Hopefully can do those feelings justice!
