| Battleship may surprise us??? |
I don't know why I want to see this film, but I do. Maybe because it featured the Japanese Navy Flag emblem? Maybe because Liam Neeson was there, or perhaps its because Rihanna features whom I have a soft spot for (see Amsterdam blog)... yeah probably because of Rihanna.
The trailer starts off looking like a OTT silly Americana Navy film deal, which it is, with a bit of a twist. The effects look pretty good in this, and it could actually be quite fun. Peter Berg showed he thinks a little different to most with Hancock, and although that had mixed successes, the intention to step outside an idea could make this one interesting. The second trailer will show whether this be the case, or not.
