If there was a list of good rules in the Universe, one would be to allow filmmakers like Lumet to live forever on the basis that they churn out classics in the way in which they do. Sadly there are not, so ends the creation of Sidney Lumet treasures like
Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon and more recently
Before the Devil knows you're Dead. Had a good run at 86 but enough class for so much more.
